It’s not often that ESPN Draft Insiders Mel Kiper, Jr. and Todd McShay give too much free draft insight (ESPN loves their pay wall), but they did recently let their opinions be known on who they think the Bears will target.

While they do have differing opinions, I’d strongly prefer Kiper’s picks over McShay’s.

Kiper:

R1: OT Nate Solder

R2: DT Marvin Austin

R3: G/C Stefen Wisniewski

McShay:

R1: DT Marvin Austin

R2: OT Ben Ijalana

R3: WR Greg Salas

—–

Looking at Kiper’s Draft, he addresses the team’s two biggest needs, and does so with guys who would be instant upgrades at their positions, and likely start on day one.

McShay has Austin as well (a round earlier), but Ijalana and Salas are each being drafted about a round too early, in my opinion.

Looking at these two experts’ opinion, what are your thoughts?
